Oct 11, 2024
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, 11 OCT – In a significant step towards strengthening collaboration between young entrepreneurs and established businesses, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Brunei (YEAB) and the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at PPPMB Headquarters.
At the event, YEAB was represented by YEAB President, Goh Chai Li, and YEAB Vice President II, The Honourable Dayang Queenie Chong. Meanwhile, representing PPPMB were PPPMB President, Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Haji Chuchu, and Deputy President (Economy), Rizan Latif.
The agreement marks an important moment in the shared mission of both organisations to support entrepreneurship, promote economic development, and build bridges for young professionals.
YEAB and PPPMB recognise the importance of generating a dynamic ecosystem where established businesses can nurture young talent, and where entrepreneurs can thrive by exploring opportunities for growth.
The collaboration reflects the shared goals of both organisations to advance entrepreneurship, particularly among the younger generation, where members of both organisations will be invited to participate in relevant programmes, workshops, and events.
Furthermore, both organisations are committed to collaborating on joint initiatives and cooperating on existing programmes aligned with their goals, whether at the local, regional, or international level.
Networking will also be a key focus under this collaboration, where YEAB and PPPMB will proactively generate networking opportunities for their members, enabling them to connect, share ideas, and establish new partnerships.
Another important aspect of the memorandum is the commitment to provide opportunities for members to explore business development prospects, encouraging entrepreneurs and business leaders to consider new joint ventures, collaborations, and innovations that can drive their businesses forward.
By generating access to these opportunities, the collaboration is hoped to stimulate growth and entrepreneurship within the Brunei economy.
