The Economic Section of the Federation of Brunei Malay Entrepreneurs (PPPMB) recently organised Bual Bicara Ekonomi Melayu Siri 2 joined by 40 members.

The event aimed to discuss the current economic challenges faced by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) entrepreneurs as well as brainstorm improvement opportunities and solutions.

The event began with opening remarks from current president Dr Haji Abdul Latif bin Chuchu, facilitated by deputy president (Economy) Haji Suni bin Haji Sulaiman.

The event also featured a forum where two inspirational Malay SMEs – Haji Illias bin Haji Matussin from Shamada Corporation Sdn Bhd and Mohd Ayub bin Suhaili from Eco Nadi Agrobiz – shared their success stories during the forum.

The status and progress of two ongoing PPPMB projects – the fundraising for a collaborative project between PPPMB and PEDCO (Palawan Economic Development Council) for land development in Palawan, the Philippines, as well as the retail store project between PPPMB and village consultative councils – were also highlighted at the event.
